Nutrition Consultations

WHAT IS CLINICAL NUTRITION?

Clinical nutrition uses a holistic approach to healing, considering the whole person, mind, body, and soul. We look at the root cause of disease or symptoms that are causing a person trouble and find ways to rebalance their body's mineral and vitamin levels.

Your initial nutrition consultation starts with a comprehensive health assessment so we can understand and establish the root cause of your health concern. I look at factors including diet, lifestyle, health, and family history to develop your personalised health plan.

My approach is evidence-informed, treating the whole person to devise a treatment plan that may include dietary, lifestyle, and nutritional recommendations.

Pathology and functional testing may be recommended if necessary.

Every person is given completely individualised care in response to their personal set of circumstances.

The Metabolic Balance program involves an individualized nutrition plan that is based on a comprehensive blood analysis of 35 different parameters, such as glucose levels, lipid levels, and hormone levels. The analysis is used to identify any nutrient deficiencies or imbalances and to create a personalized nutrition plan that is tailored to the individual's specific needs.

The plan includes a variety of foods, including proteins, vegetables, fruits, and whole grains, and is designed to be balanced and sustainable.

In addition to the personalized nutrition plan, the Metabolic Balance program includes coaching and support to help individuals make lifestyle changes that support metabolic balance, such as engaging in regular physical activity and managing stress levels.
